12/11/2008 - CROWNING GLORY TO RECORD DEBUT ALBUM!
Alright Glory-Hunters, the waiting is almost over - we'll be at the Ecology Room studios down in Dover until the end of the year recording our debut album! At the helm will be none other than Chris Tsangarides (www.myspace.com/christsangarides), who's produced the likes of Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath and many more. We'll do our best to keep you up to date with our progress while we're there and we promise to make an awesome album for you!

29/08/2008 - BLACK SWAN FESTIVAL CANCELLED
We're sorry to say that the organisers of the Black Swan Festival in Bath have announced that due to the withdrawal of a major financial backer, the event has been cancelled. If you've bought tickets in advance, please get in touch with the same ticket office you bought them from to get a refund.
Fortunately we're playing in Bristol at the Area 81 Rock Club on Friday 19th September, so get yourselves down to that one for our first ever show in the south-west of England!
13/08/2008 - METAL HAMMER SIGNING TENT @ BLOODSTOCK!
For those of you going to Bloodstock this weekend, we'll be in the Metal Hammer Signing Tent on Sunday 17th August between 12:45pm and 1:15pm (a quarter of an hour after we finish playing). As a special treat, we'll be giving away signed copies of our first EP "Path to Glory" to the first twenty people who come in, so don't be shy!

After a great show at the Bulldog Bash, we can't wait for Bloodstock Open Air Festival this weekend! 19/06/2008 - CROWNING GLORY CONFIRMED FOR 2008 BULLDOG BASH!
More great news, Glory-Hunters! We've just been confirmed to play at the biggest and best biker festival in the world, The Bulldog Bash! It's taking place at Shakespeare County Raceway in Warwickshire over the 7th-10th August, and we're on the Area81 Rock Club stage on the Saturday (stage time TBC). The line-up for the festival includes the likes of The Wildhearts, Orange Goblin, Fun Lovin Criminals and many more, check out the Bulldog Bash Official Site. We're happy to announce another live show on Sunday June 29th at The Drayman in Bexleyheath; it's a Rock Matrix all-dayer and we'll be sharing the stage with Invey and eleven other bands. £5 on the door, £4 with flyer, £3 with Rock Matrix membership card. We're playing at the REANIMATOR night at the Bristol Pear (Selly Oak) in Birmingham this Saturday night (26th Jan) with Swedish speed-metallers ENFORCER, Hospital of Death and Doctor Death. Greetings Glory-Hunters! Several updates for ya; firstly, the Rushden Attic has shut down so now the Stand and Fight! tour is now from Oct 20th-28th. We're playing with LUNARMILE in Brighton, and CONQUEST OF STEEL at Kingston; it's going to be an awesome tour!
We've also got new t-shirts available featuring "The Devourer". We've re-pressed Path to Glory after the first batch sold out, so if you haven't got one yet, what are you waiting for?

Thanks to everyone who supported us out in Ireland, we had an awesome time on tour and can't wait to do it again! Check out our tour diary for a full account of our trip. We'll be uploading loads of photos from the tour soon. In slightly less good news, Mendeed have cancelled the show at the Underworld in Camden on Friday 30th March. We apologise to all our fans in London who were planning on coming down, and can only console you with the fact that we've got another Underworld show booked on Tuesday 24th April with Firewind and Grand Magus - tickets are onsale at £10 and we're on second. Keep the flag flying for British Heavy Metal!

We're midway through our new session

and things are going awesomely; we've done all the tracking and there's only

Recently Crowning Glory performed an exclusive
stripped-down live session and were interviewed on the Janice Long show on BBC
Radio 2. You can hear it online here for the next week, and you'll find the set approximately
20 minutes into the show. The band performed an exclusive three song set,
featuring two tracks from the newly released EP Path to Glory and one
unreleased track.

Many thanks to everyone who came to the Electrowerkz show and to Orange Goblin for having

making progress on the EP front; we recorded our set at The Peel and have chosen

2 days with Matt and Ville in The Animal Farm, we've recorded and mixed two more tracks;
Sea Of Dead Dreams and Sands of Time. We're really happy with them

- Gigs

Since our sold out July shows
in London and Reading, we've been busy writing and recording, and in September
we went into the studio to record "The Other Side" which you can hear on the Music page.
We're booking more gigs at the moment, so stand by for more info. Also, many
